It is both a powerful, yet calm and relaxing talking-therapy. The hypnosis allows clients to enter into a heightened state of awareness or a ‘trance like’ state. In this state, you feel very relaxed and focused, able to access your unconscious thoughts and be receptive to positive suggestions.

A Typical Session

Before you begin your journey in hypnotherapy, we offer you a free initial 60 minute consultation. This allows our therapists to get an understanding of what issues you would like to address, what you are comfortable with, and to tailor your session to best suit you.

Our hypnotherapy sessions are broken into 2 parts – Solution Focused therapy and the application of hypnotic techniques.

Solution Focused Therapy requires a collaborative approach – you must want changes in your life to happen. It consists of focusing on what solutions are available to you as opposed to how the problem came to be. It uses practical strategies to inspire change, rather than focusing on what has happened in your past.

You are then guided through hypnosis – a very natural, calming, and relaxing method used to alter your state of consciousness. There is no loss of control – in fact, quite the opposite. Your awareness is heightened in a deep, trance-like state which helps you to create the necessary change in life leading to happiness and motivation.

How does Hypnotherapy work?

With the assistance of a professional hypnotherapist, it’s possible to enter into a hypnotic trance – a state of waking awareness. In this trance like state, you are deeply relaxed. Your mind is quiet, in a hyper-focused state. A therapist guides you through turning your attention completely inward, accessing the subconscious, and becoming more open to positive suggestion.
